ROAM was founded by Ron Dean, a licensed architect and contractor who has spent over 20 years designing and building projects around the country. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois architecture school and earned a Masters of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to forming ROAM, he learned the trade working at architecture firms in California and Chicago with an emphasis on Green Building and energy efficiency. He was a partner at SUMAC, an international AEC firm where he managed multinational projects for large corporations. ROAM brings Ron’s career back to the hands-on approach of his early experience in residential building.
